Future Data Center pricing

The price changes will take effect on your next renewal on or after February 15, 2024 PT.

In the last 12 months, we’ve released enhancements and features such as:

• Updated VPAT for Section 508 compliance (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence) Updated Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPAT) to review how the product addresses Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act.
• Empty custom field configuration (Jira Software) Show or hide empty custom fields from an issue view.
• Auto-managed sprints (Jira Software) Save time by automatically setting sprint start and end dates.
• Site and space import/export improvements (Confluence) Giving admins better visibility and control over site and space import/export tasks when moving data between Confluence instances. Speed and reliability have also been improved.
• View inline comments in edit mode (Confluence) Provide users with an improved content creation flow by allowing them to view and resolve inline comments in the editor.
• Emoji experience (Confluence) Express yourself with improvements to the editor, beginning with the ability to easily select and insert newly inbuilt emojis. This will be followed in a subsequent release with support for your own custom emojis.
• Comments and attachments for approvals (Jira Service Management) Improvements to approval workflows allow users to leave a comment or add an attachment for the requestor when approval decisions are made, and for admins to configure whether comments are required for approved and/or declined requests.

Atlassian Marketplace apps are not part of this pricing change. Marketplace app pricing is determined by the 3rd-party app developer and therefore prices are always subject to change. Questions regarding pricing changes for Marketplace apps should be directed to the app developer, who can be contacted using their information located in the Atlassian Marketplace.

Option 1: Renew your existing Data Center subscription:

Your Data Center renewal price will depend on the date you create a renewal, upgrade, or downgrade quote.

Data Center customers can renew anytime through MAC.

Sign up for a free Cloud migration trial. We are offering all Data Center customers the ability to explore, evaluate, and migrate to Cloud for free for the remainder of your Data Center subscription (max 12 months and 10,000 users).

Option 3: Renew your products with a multi-year contract

Contact us to discuss your options for locking in a 12 or 24 month term.

To calculate your updated annual price, you need to be a billing and/or technical contact on a paid invoice. Log into my.atlassian.com and follow these steps:

1. Click on Orders in the top navigation bar
2. Select Invoices in the Order Center
3. Locate the most recent paid Data Center invoice(s)
4. Download and open the PDF and look at the details page
5. Compare your products' prices with the new Data Center pricing tables.

A note on Data Center pricing:

Atlassian uses a fixed tier price model for annual pricing. For example, Jira Software with 450 users would be calculated at the 500 user tier for an annual cost of $44,000.

For additional clarity, consider the following scenario: if you add 75 users to your 450 users on Jira Software, you would now have a total of 525 users. This puts you in the 1,000 user tier at $76,000 annually - you would not pay for the 450 users and the 75 users separately in their respective tiers.

Please note that annual tiered pricing varies across Atlassian products and plans.

You can continue to renew your Data Center subscription for up to two years. Contact us to discuss your options in more detail.

• If a quote was created before February 15, 2024 PT, the pricing listed on your quote will be honored until its expiry date. 
• If a quote is edited on or after February 15, 2024 PT, then the entire quote will be recalculated to reflect the new list prices.
• If an existing quote expires or is deleted, and a new quote needs to be created on or after February 15, 2024 PT, the new quote will reflect the new list prices.

If your subscription expires and/or you renew before February 15, 2024 PT, you will be on current pricing. If your subscription expires or is renewed on or after February 15, 2024 PT, you will be placed on the new pricing.

Academic discount percentages will remain the same. Qualifying collegiate-level or higher academic institutions can receive 50% off commercial prices for new purchases, upgrades, and renewals of Atlassian products.

Community discount percentages will remain the same. Qualifying charitable non-profit organizations that are non-government, non-academic, non-commercial, non-political, and have no religious affiliation can still receive Community licenses at no cost. Additionally, you can migrate to a Cloud Community subscription at a 75% discount from Cloud list pricing.
