Today, Atlassian maintains data centers and hosts data in the US, Germany, Ireland, Singapore, and Australia. We provide all customers with secure, fast and reliable services by hosting their content in multiple regions around the world.

Can I choose the location of where my Jira or Confluence cloud site data resides?

Our Atlassian platform optimizes upon sign-up where customer data is located based on origin of access, ensuring more reliable performance and reduced latency.

Currently, data residency is available today as part of our cloud Enterprise plan. Coming soon, data residency will also be available in Standard and Premium cloud plans for Jira and Confluence. You can also choose to host certain product data in Europe or the United States. Learn about data residency controls.

What data center vendor does Bitbucket use?

Bitbucket cloud infrastructure is hosted with NTT in the US at the Ashburn, VA and Santa Clara, CA locations.

What data center vendor does Statuspage, Trello and Opsgenie use?

Statuspage, Trello, and Opsgenie are all hosted with AWS in various regions and availability zones. The location may vary from Jira and Confluence family cloud products as a result of usage and performance optimizations.

Is Atlassian compliant with EU privacy requirements?

We know that privacy is important to our customers, and our policy is to comply with laws related the use of personal data and ensure we meet the applicable standards set out in those laws. As a global service provider, we leverage common operational practices across multiple countries.
