Future Data Center pricing

Overview

As we recently announced, we are strengthening Atlassian Data Center by making our most powerful apps available natively, shipping new enterprise-grade features, and including Priority Support with Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, and Crowd Data Center, as well as Bitbucket Data Center for customers with 251 or more users. To support this continued innovation, we will be raising the price of Data Center subscriptions on February 2, 2021 PT.

This page provides information related to the upcoming pricing and packaging changes and detailed pricing tables by product and user tier. If you would like to talk to us directly, please contact our support team.

Summary of changes

Existing subscription price changes

If you have an existing Data Center subscription that you purchased or were quoted for before February 2, 2021 PT, you will receive a price increase on your next renewal. You will be placed on an advantaged price plan (less than Atlassian list prices) that will eventually rise to the new Atlassian list prices over time.

Exception for Jira Software (500 user tier)

Atlassian has two different sets of prices for Jira Software Data Center (500 user tier) - Atlassian list price and an advantaged plan price. If you are paying the current Atlassian list price ($20,400), you are not impacted by this announcement. If you are paying less than the current Atlassian list price, you are on an advantaged plan and will pay the new advantaged plan price which will rise to Atlassian list price on your subsequent renewal.

Determine whether you are on an advantaged plan. If you are a technical or billing contact, go to my.atlassian.com and check to see whether your last renewal price was less than Atlassian list price ($20,400).

New subscription price changes

If you are quoted for a new Data Center subscription on or after February 2, 2021 PT, you will pay the new Atlassian list prices.

Native apps and support services now included

The following Atlassian-built apps and services will be included with your Data Center subscription effective February 2, 2021 PT. If you own one of the apps or services below, you won’t have to pay for the apps or services upon renewals on or after February 2, 2021 PT.

*Insight - Asset Management and Insight - Discovery will be included natively with Jira Service Data Center at a later date. Upon February 2, 2021 PT, both apps will be offered for free.
