Build automated agentic AI build, test, and deployment workflows powered by Rovo Dev and Pipelines.
Unified Packages Registry for NPM and Maven
Publish, store, and manage NPM and Maven packages in a workspace-level registry that integrates seamlessly with CI/CD workflows and Bitbucket Cloud repositories
Confluence role-based access control
Role-based access control (RBAC) in Confluence replaces complex, granular permissions with clear roles, so admins can quickly see who can do what and manage access with confidence. By standardizing access into roles that match how teams actually work, RBAC makes Confluence easier to govern at scale while staying aligned with an organization’s security and compliance needs.
Enhancing Service Registry in JSM
We’re enhancing the Jira Service Management service registry and bringing it together with Assets so teams can create, discover, and manage services in one place. This gives Jira Service Management customers a more intuitive interface, a richer service graph, and a single source of truth for services and their related objects.
Field schemes - GA
Fields are now associated with spaces via field schemes (replacing field configurations and field configuration schemes), minimising clutter and improving field management at scale.
Guest Access - GA
Jira customers on paid plans can now add free guests to their tenants. Guests only can only access a single space at any one time. Guests have a restricted permission set to ensure they only see information related to the space they’re added to,
Guests can only be from external domains. For every paid user a tenant can add 5 guests (ratio of 1:5).
Inviting and managing guests at the admin level is an identical experience to managing non-guest users.
Private status pages natively in Jira Service Management
Provide internal stakeholders with a secure, authenticated view of service health during incidents. Seamlessly communicate system updates to employees directly within JSM, ensuring sensitive uptime data remains private while reducing internal support volume.
LLMs for Forge apps
We are introducing access to LLMs on Forge, allowing both Marketplace partners and customers building custom apps to integrate secure, AI-powered features using Atlassian-hosted models. This capability provides a native, 'Runs on Atlassian' way to leverage high-performance LLMs like Claude without the need for external infrastructure or complex security approvals.
Network-based access restrictions
Admins will be able to restrict access to Atlassian cloud resources so only users on approved networks can sign in, enhancing organizational security.
Configuration promotion from Sandbox to Production - Open Beta
Push and deploy your tested Jira configurations with confidence using Configuration Promotion. Push validated changes from a sandbox directly to production or another sandbox, eliminating manual setup errors and reducing deployment complexity.
AI-assisted Playbook Creation in JSM
Use AI to turn your existing docs—like runbooks, how-to guides and SOPs—into structured Jira Service Management playbooks. This reduces manual setup work, keeps responses consistent, and helps your team with guidance to resolve incidents and requests faster.
AI Signal and Noise Classification of Alerts and Alert Groups - Open EAP
Loom meeting recordings now makes it easier to transform any meeting into actionable knowledge that drives work forward. You can view the live transcript and collaborate on a new desktop note-taking surface—all sent directly to Confluence with an AI-generated recap available in 50+ languages formatted to fit your meeting type.
AI signal and noise classification of alerts - Open EAP
Jira Service Management uses Atlassian Intelligence to help reduce noisy alerts by classifying alerts and alert groups as signal and noise. This will help on-call agents to deal with high volume of alerts and focus more time on signal alerts.
Change Risk assessment, and Automation improvements
Identify risks, impact, and proposed mitigation based on past patterns, dependencies, and custom rules with out-of-the-box risk assessment. Add change elements such as calendar events and freeze and maintenance periods into automation rules.
AIOps - Alert Groups on Mobile
Jira Service Management now brings AI created alert groups on Jira mobile. This helps in reducing alert fatigue by grouping all similar alerts in a group and gives you option to take bulk actions.
Assets Common Data Model (CDM) - Open EAP
The Common Data Model (CDM) is an opinionated set of standard Entities designed to provide an opinionated set of data structures and power Atlassian’s out-of-the-box Enterprise Service Management (ESM) solutions. This ensures consistent and transparent data structures across all customer environments, with the object definitions publicly documented. Both customers and app developers can rely on CDM’s predictable structure, as Atlassian’s ESM applications will both populate and consume data from these standard objects.
Enforce signed commits at a project/workspace level
Require all project and workspace repository commits to be signed and traceable to a verified contributor.
Track Focus Area budgets, forecasts, actuals, and benefits
Unlock financial insights in Focus by comparing actual benefits and costs with budgets, forecasts, and baselined forecasts. In this release, users can enter these values directly or import them from financial systems of record using CSV files or new, public APIs. Additionally, for labor costs, you can use Focus' calculated cost from rate cards and position allocations made in Talent.
Align: New Epics Grid experience
Easily find, edit, and report on Epics data with the improved Epics Grid experience.
Align: Rovo Skill for Jira Align - Beta
Access Rovo in Jira Align to get instant, AI-powered answers about your strategy, objectives, and backlog items.
Strategy Collection: Universal HRIS Connector
The universal HRIS connector securely reads HRIS data stored in CSV files from your S3 bucket and writes that data into the Atlassian Teamwork Graph which will then be pulled into Talent.
Atlassian Focus public APIs
Public APIs that enable you to develop integrations and automations that allow you to extend Atlassian Focus.
Track and manage all Focus Area costs, labor and non-labor
Make more informed investment decisions with a complete financial picture. Now, alongside labor costs in Focus, you can track and manage non-labor costs and categorize all expenses as capital, operational, or custom categories to support your reporting needs.
Align: Link multiple features to a dependency
Associate multiple features and/or capabilities to a single dependency, giving you and your teams a clearer picture of in-flight work.
Automatic classifications
Apply data classifications automatically to new and existing content to identify sensitive information using built-in and custom regex-based detection rules. Available with an Atlassian Guard Premium subscription. This is the first of several milestones we have planned for this area.
Create with Rovo
Create with Rovo is a new feature in Confluence that generates content tailored to your team’s needs. It utilizes information from Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Atlassian’s teamwork graph to create content, like pages, Live Docs, and Whiteboards, specific to your role and tasks. Enhance ideation, simplify content transformation, and facilitate knowledge discovery while ensuring data privacy and security.
AI Root Cause Analysis
Quickly identify the root cause during an incident by leveraging data from first & third-party sources to improve mean time to resolution.
Alert group customization
Jira Service Management now makes it easier for admins manage how AI-created groups will be formed for their team. You can customize how groups are created based on service, integration, tags, or source, directly within JSM.
Create context rich Jira work items from Loom
Capture console and network logs with Loom for context-rich bug reports and create Jira work items through a direct, first-party integration.
Configure IP allowlisting by Geolocation/Country
This feature will enable customers to restrict site access to IPs originating from approved countries. IP Geofencing policies will be complementary to IP allowlisting policies, providing a more complete IP-security posture to our customers.
Unified billing for Bitbucket Cloud
Bitbucket Cloud customers will get a simpler, consistent billing experience across all Atlassian apps.
Public status pages natively in Jira Service Management
Share real-time service availability and incident updates through public-facing status pages, now built directly into Jira Service Management. This feature enables teams to communicate outages, disruptions, and maintenance updates to external users—without needing a separate product.
Formula custom field
A formula field will be a custom field in Jira that displays derived data relevant to a work item. Results in the field will be automatically calculated based on a user-defined expression and displayed in real-time. This enables customers to view the key information they need within the context of their work item. This new field will support number, date/time and text outputs and be scoped to a single work item. This field will be available for team managed projects as well as company managed projects.
Block mobile browser
Organization administrators will have the capability to restrict access from mobile web browsers, while still permitting access through mobile apps.
Scan existing data across full sites
