Currency Conversion Rate Change - Japanese Yen (JPY) to US Dollar (USD)

Atlassian will update the conversion rate from USD to JPY by roughly 7.3% on October 13 2026 PT. This change reflects current market conditions to better bring our pricing into alignment across geographies.

This update impacts new purchases as well as renewals and upgrades of existing subscriptions. If a quote is generated before October 13, 2026 PT, we will honor it under the prior price until the quote expires. Quotes generated on or after October 13, 2026 PT, will be based on the new prices.

This foreign exchange rate update applies to all Atlassian Cloud and Data Center apps billed in JPY and impacts new purchases as well as renewals and upgrades of existing subscriptions. All purchases made on October 13, 2026 PT onwards will reflect the new, updated foreign exchange rates.

This page provides FAQs related to the upcoming currency exchange rate update and detailed Data Center pricing tables by app and user tier. New exchange rates will not go into effect until October 13, 2026 PT.

The foreign exchange rate between the JPY and the USD has experienced consistent fluctuations over the past 12 months. Effective October 13, 2026 PT, we’re adjusting our prices in yen to align with currency valuation and exchange rates with the USD.

You’ll receive an email with detailed information of any additional pricing changes and links to pricing tables for your apps. Please note the changes on your app pricing is on top of the JPY exchange rate adjustment.
