You often hear us talking on the Atlassian blog about the Atlassian User Groups that we have coming up all around the place . Next stop on the AUG train is Amsterdam, so if you want to take a peek inside our newest office and meet other Atlassian Users then drop on by.
However what a lot of people don’t realise is that our Sydney office also plays host quite frequently to a whole array of user groups that our Sydney staff are actively involved in. The Spring User Group and Sydney Extreme Programming and Agile Club swing by from time to time.
slug.pngSydney Linux User Group (SLUG) have been coming to our office every month since we moved into the Corn Exchange about 18 months ago to discuss all things linux-y. SLUG will be here tomorrow night for their monthly meeting (Friday 31st October). Mary Gardiner will be talking about how to keep your data safe, you can read more details here.
Sydney Java User Group are also regulars and a lot of our developers attend these user groups. SJUG are always on the look out for speakers. If you’re interested in presenting at one of their meetings then drop them an email.
If that all sounds a bit too techy for you then come on by to the next Wiki Wednesday on 12th November. We’re on the lookout for anyone interested in wikis and social software. This is a totally free event and is an opportunity to chat to a whole range of people interested in wikis. If you’re a wiki groupie and want to spread the wiki love then make sure you sign up for a 5 minute round robin talk. If you plan on coming make sure you RSVP so we know how much pizza and beer to order.
See you there!
