Charlie had such a good time in San Francisco, he was excited to see the City of Angels. He quickly headed over to the Santa Monica Pier for fun and some swimming out in the Pacific Ocean.
After dipping a toe in the water, he decided to head over to the Bodega Wine Bar in Santa Monica to meet up with some great Atlassian customers, experts, employees, and enquirers.
Our second stop for RoadTrip connected us with some great organizations in LA, including Lucky Jeans, Cars Direct, University of California Los Angeles (go Bruins!), Disney, NBC Universal, and Boingo Wireless. Charlie was ecstatic to meet so many people from different backgrounds learning about Atlassian.
President Jay Simons shared a behind-the-scenes look at how the Jira team builds great software with details on our product management, design, development, and quality assistance teams. Giancarlo Lionetti from our DevTools team in San Francisco discussed ways to boost team productivity and enhance collaboration through use of Stash, Bamboo, and git.
Special thanks to our Atlassian Expert partners who joined us in Los Angeles: cPrime, Go2Group, Isos Technology, and CustomWare. Atlassian Experts help deliver an incredible experience with our products. If you need a plugin built, a deployment tuned, help with setup and config, or coaching on going agile, we’ve got the expert for the job.
Shout out to Greg, Charity and the staff at Bodega Wine Bar in Santa Monica. For those of you who RSVP’d for our Chicago and NYC stops, we’ll see you this week!
