2014 has been a banner year for Atlassian. We introduced JIRA Portfolio and Atlassian Enterprise, held our biggest and brightest Summit yet, and opened new offices in Manila and Austin, Texas. There’s another milestone that hasn’t been talked about as much as these others, but is incredibly meaningful for all Atlassians, especially Mike and myself: we now have more than 40,000 organizations as customers.
Small company, big goals
Back when we had less than 500 customers, Mike and I wondered what it would be like to someday have more than 50,000 Atlassian customers. That kind of number was almost unheard of in the enterprise software world. Still, you seldom do big things if you don’t set big goals. So set that goal we did.
