Generate ideas to help your team be more innovative
Use this template to create new ideas, encourage problem-solving, and develop innovative solutions in your teams. Instead of discussing out loud, brainwriting encourages sharing ideas in a silent, thoughtful, and inclusive way.
This is a safe space for openly sharing ideas:
Listen with an open mind
Remember everyone’s opinion is valid
Focus on generating ideas, not judging them
Define and share a clear topic or theme. This will be the focus for the brainstorm.
Add your name to a sticky note. Set the timer for 5 minutes and individually brainstorm an idea for the problem.
Start the timer again, move to the idea on your right. Add or improve upon that idea. Do this vertically. Think of it as an idea + 1.
Repeat the process for a few rounds.
Discuss all the ideas you came up with. Vote on ideas or group them to see which are the most feasible.
