Your transformation strategy is only as strong as its alignment with team execution and financial investment. Now you can see portfolio health in real time, intervene before initiatives drift, and tie every request and dollar to the priorities that matter. The latest Strategy Collection innovations bring financial investment, delivery risk, and cross-team demand into one view.
The best part? Every capability covered has shipped since our previous Innovation Spotlight. So they are live and in your hands right now, GA or open beta, with no waitlist.
In our new 2026 State of Strategy research with more than 300 senior enterprise leaders, 80 percent said their priorities are clear. Only 11 percent had linked the work to those priorities in a single system. That gap is structural. Strategic priorities, work, money, objectives, and teams sit in systems that were never connected, so leaders steer from slides rather than the live picture.
Give the whole organization one line of sight
Ben Waddle, VP of Strategy, Planning, and Delivery at Expedia Group, put a number on what that connection is worth:
Our quarterly priority reviews, which historically would take weeks of preparation and reaching out to 50-plus product managers, are now produced on demand. We hold those meetings out of the tool itself, so the information is as fresh as the moment we walk into the meeting room.”
– Ben Waddle, Expedia Group (Team ’26 session: From gut-feel to confident strategic delivery with Strategy Collection and Rovo)
Three changes give leaders that line of sight. Jira Product Discovery now connects directly into the strategy layer, so an idea worth pursuing links to the priority it serves instead of living in a separate tool. Goals and Projects gained the enterprise controls large organizations asked for, including granular edit permissions, release tracks, and activity history, so a leader can trace a team objective up to an enterprise outcome. And Jira Align made its governance surfaces faster to sort and read, including ranking programs on the Epic Roadmap and clearing inactive ones after a reorg.
Answer the three questions every leader asks
Are our top priorities on track? Are our investments performing? What should I focus on today? Most leaders can’t quickly answer, because money and work live in different systems.
In Focus, Funds puts financials in the surface where prioritization already happens, so a portfolio owner sees spend drifting from delivery while there is still time to act. Budgets, costs, benefits, forecast, and variance sit beside the initiatives they belong to, connected to live work through the Teamwork Graph.
Strategic Intelligence, now in beta, reads that connected data across Jira, Goals, and Funds. It flags what is off track, at risk, or gone quiet, and offers recommendations, so the most important decisions surface on their own instead of waiting for the next review. The intelligence works because the operating model is built on the Atlassian Teamwork Graph. A fragmented operating model is the real blocker to AI value, because AI amplifies whatever operating model it finds. Connect your operating model first, then watch AI improve the quality and velocity of your decision making.
Keep the thread from request to outcome
Colton Kosicek, Assistant Vice President of Global Agile Operations at CNA Insurance, describes the payoff this way: “Since rolling out Strategy Collection, all our team members can see in real time how their execution work contributes to CNA’s strategy and success.” That connection breaks the moment a cross-team request goes into a side channel and loses its link to the priority behind it.
Asks captures a request from anywhere in the organization and routes it against strategic priorities, structured and tracked inside Focus. The thread from “someone needs this” to “here is the initiative it serves” stays intact.

Why now
AI is supposed to prove itself in 2026. It cannot prove anything while it reasons over work disconnected from strategy or spend. This quarter finally closes that gap: priorities, the work driving them, the money behind them, and the outcomes they produce, in one place. On that foundation, AI stops summarizing what already happened and starts flagging the priority that is about to slip or over-run budget, while you can still act on it.
