Description

Microsoft Entra ID is where many organizations manage the identity of everyone who works there. People data isn’t another source to search. It’s the backbone of the Teamwork Graph. With Microsoft Entra ID connected, the Teamwork Graph knows who you are, what department you’re in, and who you report to, and connects the work across Jira, Confluence, and your other tools to the people doing it. That makes answers more contextual, personal, and accurate, in Rovo and across Atlassian, and every name comes with context.

Admins connect Microsoft Entra ID in Atlassian Administration with tenant-wide admin consent, and the connector syncs only people and organization data. It doesn’t index SharePoint or OneDrive content. The Teamwork Graph keeps people context in sync, so when someone changes roles or teams, Atlassian reflects it, and Entra ID stays your source of truth. Synced data is used according to Atlassian’s Teamwork Graph data, privacy, and usage guidelines.
