Here’s a look at three new features that will make a huge difference when you work with your next table.
Scrolling table headers make a huge difference
One of the hardest parts about viewing big tables in Confluence has been that you can lose context about what you’re columns mean as you scroll down the table and the page. We’ve made this experience much better by adding table header rows that stick to the top when you’re viewing a page, making those really long tables easier to read.
Automatically number table rows
Manually numbering rows can be a real drag when all of a sudden, you want to move row 22 up to row 6. It’s almost not worth it when you have to then renumber all the rows again. Now you can add a numbering column, which automagically numbers all the rows in your table. It’s great for those mammoth tables of requirements or project tasks. Even when you cut and paste a row into the middle of your table, all the numbers update automatically.
Cut, copy, and paste table columns
You’ve always been able to cut, copy, and paste table rows, now you can do the same for columns and it makes a world of difference when you want to reorganize your tables.
