We’re both thrilled and humbled that Atlassian has been named the #1 Best Place to Work in Australia for the second year in a row.
Last night at the Ivy Ballroom there was a team of Atlassians on hand to happily accept an award naming us Australia’s best place to work by the Great Place to Work Institute.
Born in Sydney just 13 years ago, it’s crazy to think about how far we’ve come. To win this award back-to-back years is really an honor given how many amazing companies have a presence in Australia.
The Atlassian culture has evolved, and will continue to evolve as the company grows. Every new Atlassian brings their own unique viewpoint to the table, but by maintaining our company values and by hiring people that believe in those values, we’re able to remain true to our founding principles of openness, teamwork, and innovation.
This award really is a tribute to all of our team members and their commitment to building a great company. After all, they’re the ones who make make Atlassian a fantastic place to work.
