For a limited time, Rovo Dev Standard customers can use Claude Opus 4.7 with a lower credit multiplier
We’re excited to share that Claude Opus 4.7 is available for Atlassian customers on Rovo Dev Standard! You can start exploring its capabilities right away within Rovo Dev CLI & IDE, featuring notable improvements in advanced software engineering, paired with the context your team relies on from across the Atlassian ecosystem.
Our belief is that AI should be practical, easily accessible, and grounded in the context that makes it truly useful. So for a limited time, we’re reducing the Claude Opus 4.7 credit multiplier in Rovo Dev by half — giving software engineering teams the freedom to tap into the most capable model without holding back. Whether you’re tackling complex multi-step engineering tasks or debugging tricky issues, experimenting with the frontier is now more accessible than ever.
What’s new:
- New model availability — Claude Opus 4.7 is now available in Rovo Dev CLI and IDE.
- Limited time promotion — Until 4/30/2026, existing Atlassian customers with a Rovo Dev Standard plan can access Claude Opus 4.7 at half the credit cost (1x Rovo Dev credit multiplier instead of 2x).
How to get started
Use the /models slash command to switch between available AI models in Rovo Dev CLI & IDE. For finer grained control over effort level, set the efficiency level with /efficiency [level]. For example, /efficiency high.
Switching between models and efficiency levels is quick, even in the middle of an active session:

Claude Opus 4.7 sets a new bar for AI performance on software engineering tasks, with notable gains on the most complex and demanding work. It handles long-running tasks with consistency and rigor, follows instructions precisely, and verifies its own outputs before reporting back.
