We’re starting to get some great entries in for Codegeist. There’s a lot of activity around Bamboo, our new continuous integration server, which is very exciting to us. There’s a Cobertura code-coverage plugin, which we’re already using on the Jira team. And there’s an NAnt plugin that shows the .Net community is well-represented. You should check those out, as well as all the other entries. The authors will welcome your feedback, as it can ensure a better entry when the contest closes.
On a related note, if you’re working on a plugin for Codegeist, Atlassian is happy to provide SVN hosting and a Jira project for you to use. Putting up a Jira project is a great way to collect feedback, feature requests and bug reports. And putting the sourcecode in our shared repository is the best way to let other people collaborate with you on your plugin. Just contact me and I’ll set you up with all the accounts you’ll need.
Don’t forget, it’s not too late to try your hand at building a plugin for Codegeist. There is $20k USD up for grabs, and still plenty of room for entries. Take your best idea and give it a shot!
