Atlassian’s commitment to our customers during the COVID-19 pandemic

How we’re ensuring business continuity.

These are exceptional times. As the situation around the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold and create uncertainty around the globe, we want to let you know how we’re responding at Atlassian. Now more than ever, our efforts are guided by our mission to unleash the potential of every team.

We’re thinking first of the health and well-being of our communities, our customers, our partners, and our employees and their families. We have asked all of our employees around the globe to work from home, and we have temporarily closed offices to help prevent the spread of the virus. We have also stopped all non-essential business travel and in-person meetings. We will continue to pay our hourly service workers during this time to reduce the disruption in their lives.

Empowering teams to work remote

The unprecedented number of people working remotely has created challenges for all of us. At Atlassian, we’re no strangers to staying connected at a distance. A significant number of our employees work remotely on a regular basis, and we count on our own products to collaborate, track progress, and communicate with each other.

To make remote work as easy as possible for you and your teams, we launched our Remote Work Hub to make our products and best practices easily accessible. We also made our core cloud software products available for free so everyone can communicate and collaborate seamlessly, without needing to be in the same room. Because remote teamwork isn’t just about having the right tools, we have also assembled advice from teamwork experts, practices for maintaining a strong at-a-distance culture, and even essential ideas on how to remain productive with your kids underfoot

Helping educators around the world

For the heroic teachers in our communities who are adapting to distance learning, we’ve made Trello Business Class available for free for one year to help them plan coursework, collaborate with colleagues, and keep their virtual classrooms organized. This is on top of Atlassian’s Academic Licenses, which are available to educational institutions and teaching hospitals at steep discounts.

Ensuring business continuity

Working remotely has not changed our commitment to maintaining our high level of service, compliance obligations, and the safety of your data. Our Crisis Management Team meets daily to evaluate the situation and act accordingly. We are following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and other authorities for information and decision-making support. You can count on us, just as we count on Jira and Confluence to help us manage the work needed to keep our employees safe and our services running. We have a comprehensive business continuity plan in place to ensure you and your teams can continue your important work without interruption to Atlassian services.

While no one knows how long this pandemic will last, you can be assured that the Atlassian TEAM is here to support you in every way possible. This way, you can stay focused on the important task of helping your teams move work forward. We’ll keep you updated as needed.

Please reach out to us if there is anything you need help with, or if you have any questions or concerns. We are here for you.
