Exam Topics

Preparation

Confluence Administrators manage, customize, and configure Confluence from within the Confluence user interface. The exam does not cover OS or server configurations that support Confluence.

You'll need experience administering Confluence to pass the exam. Increase your chances of success with careful preparation!

  • Download the Exam Topics and evaluate your readiness.
  • Get hands-on practice across all the topics, paying particular attention to functionalities you work with infrequently.
  • Consult the Atlassian product documentation to learn about the nuances of each topic you may be unfamiliar with.
  • If you typically use a localized product, use the English version to prepare for the exam, so that you'll be familiar with the names of menu options and other product features.
  • Be sure you have a high-level awareness of other roles involved in maintaining Confluence and how this larger team works together.
Training

If you're just getting started, training courses from Atlassian are an excellent way to begin. Our courses provide the foundation for Confluence Administration. Build on this foundation with experience before graduating to the Skillbuilders and Exam Prep course.

Your Certification's valid period

Because this credential is retiring on 2 February 2024, you are no longer required to maintain it every 24 months.

If you newly earn this Certification between 15 October 2020 and 28 February 2021, your credential will initially be valid for 24 months.  After 28 February 2021, Atlassian will extend your Certification through 2 February 2024.

If you already hold this Certification and it was in Active or Suspended status on 15 October 2020, Atlassian will extend your Certification through 2 February 2024.

We encourage you to continue learning Confluence Pro Skills by taking the free Skillbuilder courses linked below, but you do not need them to extend your Certification.
