You can trial server products for 30 days (can be extended to a maximum of 90 days) before purchase, allowing you to see and use Atlassian software before you purchase. Atlassian provides a fully functional server version of each Atlassian product for trial. What you use during your trial is what you'll be getting when you buy.
To generate a trial license key or extend your trial, simply log into My.Atlassian. Click New Evaluation License and follow the instructions to associate your Server ID. A new trial license will be generated that you enter into your server product.
All installed trials include access to our technical support resources. Trial keys are for the highest user tier available and are compatible across stand-alone product/apps user tiers and license types.
Atlassian offers fully functional trials of our Standard and Premium products for a period of 7 days (can be extended to a maximum of 37 days upon request). When your trial expires, you can continue using Atlassian Cloud by adding a credit card from your My.Atlassian account. Should you opt to discontinue the use of our Cloud services, we offer full refunds during the first month of paid service following the end of the trial, if you decide Atlassian Cloud isn't for you. After the first paid month, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges. If you choose to not add a credit card at the end of your 7-day Standard trial, your site will automatically be downgraded to a Free plan.
Please Note: Although Atlassian Cloud trials include access to Technical Support, note that we do not provide data backups for trials, only for monthly and annual subscribers. Financially-backed SLAs will not be supported during Atlassian Cloud Premium trials.
Extended Cloud Trials
If you’re an existing Server or Data Center customer, we also offer extended cloud trials which match the remaining duration of your maintenance/subscription and user tier (up to 5,000). Extended cloud trials follow the same terms as a standard cloud trial, but offer self-managed customers the opportunity to explore, test, and migrate to cloud over time—at no extra cost.
You can trial any Marketplace app (Cloud, Server, or Data Center) free for 30 days. App trials must be initiated through the account’s Atlassian administrator. Once the trial period is over, the cost of the app will be automatically included in your next bill for monthly Cloud users, unless manually deactivated. Atlassian Cloud subscriptions billed annually will need a manual quote for all app purchases. Apps need to be purchased separately for Cloud, Server, and Data Center and the licenses do not transfer.
For apps, you must purchase the license tier that matches the number of users you have licensed for your host product. For example, if you have a 25-user Confluence license, purchase the Confluence app at the 25-user tier. The app will only function if its license matches or exceeds the tier of the host product – even if only some of your licensed users need to use the app. For additional questions, see our FAQ on Marketplace apps.
An email addresses in your Certification Portal account (either Personal Email or Work Email) must match the Atlassian ID on your Atlassian Community profile.
To get the most out of displaying your digital credentials on Atlassian Community, your first step should be to log in to the Certification Portal and check the 'Enable' box on the Digital Badges page. Next, log in to Atlassian Community and open your profile. Under "Display your Certifications', click 'Link your Account.'

ACP Certification exams can be paid for with vouchers purchased from Atlassian. Read these important considerations before making a voucher purchase:
Are you thinking of purchasing vouchers only because you need an invoice showing your company's name and VAT ID? You need not purchase vouchers in this case. Each test taker can generate an invoice on the Kryterion platform for exams they paid for with a credit card; the invoice can be customized with your company's name and VAT ID.

Atlassian's Candidate Portal provides robust ways for job applicants to help employers verify their Atlassian Certifications.
If an employer has concerns about the validity of a Certification that has been provided to them by an applicant, the employer should raise an issue at our Service Desk.
With careful study, the Server-focused Certifications are achievable by Cloud application administrators. We recommend that you structure your preparation to develop a good understanding of the differences between the two installation types, as the differences affect the responsibilities and tasks of the job role being certified. Prepare as if you were actually needing to go to work next week or next month and administer a server instance – dive into the details, consult the documentation, and use all the resources you can to gather the information you'd need.
You'll need both experience and study to be fully prepared, because we test on your ability to use our products in a variety of environments and contexts.
Be sure to learn about the aspects of the product that are not part of your day-to-day work, and get hands-on practice with those aspects where possible.
We want you to succeed on your first attempt, so we strongly recommend a careful preparation strategy, even for those with many years of experience.
Some testing centers do not open dates very far in advance. You can contact Support to see if they can help. If you are having difficulties finding a testing center within a 100-mile radius, and/or available dates and times, please contact the Support Team for assistance.

Share your Credentials to your social media stream
Digital badges represent your credentials online; when viewers click the shared badge icon, they will link directly to the Atlassian Certification database, and a 'verification' window will pop up showing details about your credential.
Add your Certifications to your accomplishments in LinkedIn
Sharing your digital badge to LinkedIn (described above) will add it to your activity stream, but not to your profile. Most people will also want to display their Certifications as accomplishments in their profile.

Get a URL for a Credential for your website or online resume/CV
A URL can be used to link to a single credential. This is necessary for platforms that can't display your digital badge (i.e. they don't support the Open Badges standard), such as your website or online resume/CV.
You can take some additional steps to replace the link with a linkable image that functions just like a digital badge:
Share multiple Credentials online or via email using a Transcript
A Transcript lists ALL the exams and/or certifications you choose to display on it, and can be shared privately with third parties via email or posted online.
Yes, you can retake the exam, but you must wait at least 7 days to re-register. We recommend taking additional time to prepare, to maximize your chances of success. Retakes are the same price.
You will receive your results via email immediately after you complete the exam (unless it is a beta exam). However, it will take 24 to 48 hours from the time you completed the exam to update in the Certification Portal. If you still don't see your updated records in the Certification Portal, please contact us at our Service Desk.
We are unable to provide access to the actual exam questions because that would compromise the security of the exam for others.
