In this talk, the speakers will show how they built out that system and how it delivers a great customer experience.
Build Beautiful Custom Apps for Atlassian Tools
Building apps for Atlassian tools is a great way to enhance the existing functionality and customise the tools to suit your company's business needs. Ideally, customisations should integrate well with the tools' UX so your colleagues can easily understand and use your apps. But sometimes spending hours understanding the apps design guidelines seems like overkill for an internal-only customisation.
In this session, Atlassian Ecosystem UX designer Lucy Denton, will share common ways people customise tools and defined design patterns for doing so. Learn how to make your customisations for JIRA and Confluence simple to use, professionally integrated, and most importantly easy to design, create and maintain.

Prototyping Cars Using Jira
The Electronics Research Laboratory from Volkswagen Group of America uses Jira to manage traditional software development. After adopting Jira for their software team they wondered if Jira could be used in other areas to enhance overall productivity. In this case, Jira was used as the underlying platform to create a Web App that manages the life-cycle of prototype vehicles from build to destruction as well as their maintenance inside the car, event scheduling, even the service bay the car was sitting in. Learn how through this project, Volkswagen came to view Atlassian as critical to their business processes, not just their software development and how these can be applied to your company.
WeWork Connect: Shaping Confluence to Reflect Our Culture
