Since acquiring Automation for Jira in October 2019, we’ve been working hard to bring this powerful automation engine natively to all Jira Cloud customers. Here’s what you can expect from this powerful offering:

- Work can get messy. Lots of teams, lots of tools, lots of processes. Automation organizes all of this for you without adding workload or complexity.
- It works across all Jira Cloud products but also integrates with tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams.
- Using automation, DevOps practices flow neatly from code to production.
- By automating processes that span DevOps and IT operations teams, this feature up-levels Jira Service Desk’s ITSM capabilities.
And, perhaps most importantly, it’s easy to use. You’ll have more power, without the complexity. According to a survey of existing Automation for Jira customers, more than half of people who have automated their work with Jira say it saves them more than six hours per month, and 87 percent say it helps them scale the way their organizations work.
Jira has always served teams as a single source of truth. Now, with automation working tirelessly in the background, your work will simply flow, allowing your team’s productivity to hit all-time highs.
