Following the success of our collaboration with Amazon Web Services this year, we wanted to provide more flexibility for customers to choose the Data Center deployment option that works best for them. At Atlassian Summit, we made an exciting new announcement that customers can now deploy Jira Software Data Center in Microsoft Azure. Now, we’re excited to announce that Confluence Data Center is joining the Azure party.

We’ve seen a massive trend of companies moving applications out of their own Data Centers and into new cloud hosting providers. By offering support for Microsoft Azure, we continue to deliver on our promise of flexibility and performance for our customers.

Azure meets Confluence Data Center

We continue to see our customers turning to infrastructure service providers for a cost effective and flexible alternative to hosting on traditional servers. So that’s why we #teamedup with Microsoft Azure to make managing and deploying Confluence Data Center easy, in the environment of your choice.

Customers can get started using a jointly-built Atlassian template for Azure Resource Manager, accessible in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. Build a Confluence Data Center instance with configurable nodes in a few guided clicks, or spin up a test instance with dummy data. Extended services like automatic backups, geo-replication and encryption are supported with Azure SQL Database.

Confluence Data Center is a self managed solution that gives you high availability, performance at scale, and disaster recovery for uninterrupted access to Confluence for all your teams.

With this new collaboration, teams get high availability and performance at scale, and admins can rest easy with hassle-free deployment and low maintenance on infrastructure they trust. Want to learn more? Click the big green button below.
