Why Grovember?
Grovember is in no way a criticism of the Movember initiative. We've been a big supporter of Movember in the past (& continue to be outside Australia this year). We feel unable to support Movember's 2011 effort in Australia because they are funding beyondblue, whose Chairman made disparaging remarks about the parenting abilities of same-sex and single parents.
We are happily supporting Movember in other countries where money will go to men’s health charities in those regions (not beyondblue). Grovember is a 2011 initiative for Australia only & we hope to support Movember 2012.
