VersionOne Agile Project Management and JIRA

Atlassian TV

VersionOne is a project planning and management tool designed specifically for agile software development that is now integrated with JIRA. Starting in JIRA, a user creates an issue or ticket that is subsequently pulled into VersionOne's agile workflow. This video screencast features VersionOne's Jerry Odenwelder giving a demonstration of the solution.

Hi Mark, I believe the answer is yes, but we'll find out for you and reply here.

Mark,
From my research I believe both integrations can be used concurrently. I suspect youll want to tag issues in JIRA when you want them sent to VersionOne. Using this approach allows you to also assign the JIRA issue to a developer, making it easier for the developer to locate the Issue when checking in code to AccuRev. Additionally, if the JIRA issue is assigned to the developer first, and the user ids match in JIRA and VersionOne, the VersionOne integration will set the Defect owner field to the JIRA issue owner.
