Does OnDemand have the same features as Download?

JIRA OnDemand is fully functional and contains the same features as JIRA Download. However, in order to securely provide the application in a hosted environment, some of the administrative functions available in JIRA Download are restricted in JIRA OnDemand.

Will I be able to try add-ons?

Choose from a set of supported add-ons to install.

Download Trials

Install any compatible add-on using the Universal Plugin Manager in the JIRA Administration console.

I'm already using JIRA OnDemand. How do I add GreenHopper and other products to my subscription?

To add products to your existing subscription, visit the OnDemand configuration page and choose the products you'd like to add. You'll automatically get a free one-month trial of any new products before their cost is added to your subscription.

Can I switch between OnDemand and Download?

Yes, you can switch from an OnDemand trial to Download, and vice versa. Just start a new trial and cancel your old trial (or allow it to expire).

Consult our product documentation for details about importing/exporting data. You can also contact Support if you need help with a data migration.

How many users can participate in the trial?

An unlimited number of users can participate in your JIRA trial. You may add additional JIRA users in the system as needed, as evaluations allow for full enterprise functionality and control, including user and group management.

Will Atlassian contact me during my trial?

We will never call you or bug you directly. You can expect to receive a couple short emails that are desiged to help you get up to speed with our products.

Is technical assistance available during my trial?

Yes. While evaluating any Atlassian product, you're entitled to assistance from our dedicated technical support team. They can help with specific technical issues that may arise during your evaluation (identifying errors or problems, providing additional guidance with installation, suggesting performance tweaks, etc.).

Where can I learn more about JIRA during my evaluation?

We offer an abundance of resources aimed to bring new users up to speed at quickstart.atlassian.com.

What happens when I've completed my 30-day trial?

OnDemand Trials

We'll send you a reminder email a few days before your trial expires. When your trial expires, we will automatically bill you for your first month's service using the credit card you provided at signup.

You can cancel your trial at any time by logging in to your account at my.atlassian.com.

Download Trials

To continue using JIRA after your Download evaluation expires, purchase a JIRA license, then update the license in your existing installation of JIRA.

Can I extend my free trial?

OnDemand Trials

OnDemand trials are limited to 30 days.

Download Trials

Atlassian allows up to 90 day maximum for Download trials. To generate an extended license key online, login to your Atlassian account and click the 'New Evaluation License' option.
