Features – Report
JIRA offers plenty of ways to deliver real-time, relevant information in a convenient format.
Multi-dimensional reporting
Display granular information in a variety of formats:
With JIRA's highly flexible reporting capabilities, you can report on virtually any dimension of your issues, e.g.:
- unresolved high-priority issues
- number of issues per customer
- average resolution time
- estimated time vs actual time taken
- number of issues created per day/week/month/year
- and practically anything else you can think of!
Customisable dashboard
Your 'dashboard' is your JIRA homepage. Completely configurable, it presents your chosen information immediately upon login.
A user's dashboard is made up of any combination of configurable portlets, such as:
- a list of issues assigned to you
- a list of your saved filters
- project statistics
- filter statistics
- project list
- line graphs
- pie charts
- HTML text messages
- even create your own portlets
JIRA ships with 15 portlets which can be easily added via the web interface and moved around to any location on the dashboard. You can even create multiple dashboard pages, configuring each one independently - great for managing a lot of projects simultaneously.
Project reports and statistics
JIRA's Browse Project feature allows project managers and authorised users to view a library of out-of-the-box statistics and reports related to a specific project. These include:
- popular issues (issues most voted by users)
- issues assigned to any specific version or milestone
- issues set to a particular issue status
- issues set to a particular issue priority
- time tracking report
- version workload report
- staff workload report
With JIRA's powerful and flexible plugin framework, you can extend many of its built-in reporting capabilities.
