  • Not using JIRA yet?

    1. Download and install a free JIRA evaluation.
    2. Browse to JIRA administration > Plugins
    3. Search for GreenHopper and click Install – You're done!

  • Already using JIRA 4.3 or later?

    1. Browse to Administration in your JIRA.
    2. Click the Plugins link under the System section in the left menu to open the Universal Plugin Manager.
    3. Type "GreenHopper" in the Search the Plugin Exchange box and click the search button, then click to install
    4. Obtain an evaluation license from My Atlassian and put it in GreenHopper under the Administration > GreenHopper > GreenHopper License menu
    5. You will now see the Agile menu, the next step is to get started.

  • Already using JIRA 4.2 or earlier?

    1. Browse the Plugin Exchange and download the compatible version of GreenHopper for your JIRA version (find this in the footer of your JIRA).
    2. Copy the downloaded file (e.g. jira-greenhopper-plugin-5.8.4.jar) into the {JIRA_HOME}\plugins\installed-plugins folder.
    3. Restart your JIRA.
    4. Obtain an evaluation license from My Atlassian and put it in GreenHopper under the Administration > GreenHopper > GreenHopper License menu
    5. You will now see the Agile menu, the next step is to get started.
