Crucible
– Crucible requires FishEye
Crucible requires a FishEye license
You need a current FishEye license to run Crucible.
What does that mean for you? We've outlined all the possible situations below. If you still have a question, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Scenario A: I want to use Crucible, but don't own FishEye
Then you will need to buy a FishEye license
with an equal or greater number of users in order to run Crucible. The good news is that when you purchase more than
one Atlassian product at the same time, you automatically receive a 10% discount
(at minimum).
Scenario B: I have a FishEye license and want to purchase Crucible
If you have purchased a FishEye license or renewed your FishEye maintenance within the last 12 months, then you can run
Crucible just fine. When you purchase Crucible, we require you to synchronise your FishEye license/maintenance
so that both products' licenses will expire on the same day. That ensures both products will continue to work in tandem
and that one license won't expire before the other. To synchronise, please contact us.
Scenario C: I had a FishEye license but it expired more than a year ago
If your FishEye license is out of maintenance then any active maintenance for your Crucible license will be forfeited.
You must purchase a new license of FishEye in order for Crucible to work. Any time you do not purchase both FishEye and
Crucible together, we highly recommend you syncronise their maintenance date to allow you to get the most free updates
as possible.
When you purchase more than one Atlassian product at the same time, including purchasing 12 full months of maintenance, you automatically receive a 10% discount (at minimum).
