Crowd - Features – Single Sign-On
Crowd provides you with an easy-to-use framework for single sign-on (SSO) and centralised authentication.
Login once, access everything
Single sign-on enables users to authenticate (login) once and gain access to multiple web applications.
Usage example: Login to one web application (e.g. your intranet), then move between your other web applications without having to login repeatedly.

With Crowd's SSO capabilities, you can also logout of one web application and instantly be logged out of them all. In addition to giving users access to their behind-the-firewall applications, Crowd lets users gain access to any of their OpenID accounts outside the firewall.
Centralised authentication
Centralised authentication is when an end-user has the same username and password used across all web applications, even if the application cannot participate in single sign-on. This is often a major milestone before single sign-on is achieved within an organisation.
Usage example: Consolidate all of your logins down to a single username and password. Your users will no longer need to remember multiple usernames and passwords.
