Your Current Tools, Only Better
Bamboo works with the tools you already use, including:
- Source control – Subversion, Git, Mercurial, CVS and Perforce
- Build tools including Maven (1, 2 & 3), Ant, .Net, Make and command line tools
- Test automation with any tool with xUnit output – jUnit, Selenium, PHPUnit
- Code quality tools such as Sonar and Atlassian's Clover
Perforce, CVS and Sonar integrations are not available in Bamboo OnDemand.
Beyond Compile & Test
Bamboo build plans are composed of serial-running Stages containing parallel-running Jobs. With Bamboo builds, you can easily:
- Compile & test on multiple target platforms in parallel
- Run fast unit tests before long-running functional tests
- Shorten the feedback loop by breaking tests up into batches that run in parallel
Build Pipeline
Break your build process into smaller, automated sections with Stages, Jobs and Tasks. This gives you instant feedback on builds, saving time by identifying failures faster. Builds can run in parallel to cut down your build time.
Adapt on the Fly
Even the best-laid plans sometimes need adjusting. Bamboo lets you override settings at runtime, rerun successful builds to roll back a bad deploy and build from an arbitrary revision number.
