Builds unite
Bamboo distributes builds across different machines. These distributed builds allow you to harness the computing power of your entire network, maximizing your build productivity and decreasing wait times.
Simply install a new Bamboo Agent on any additional build computers and your main Bamboo server will manage it. When a build is detected, the Bamboo server will automatically and intelligently distribute the builds to the agents.
Test on different platforms
Need to test against different environments and operating systems? Install Bamboo's agents on different computers and extend your testing capabilities.
Agent-plan matching
Different agents can have different capabilities and environments. With Bamboo's agent-plan matching system, it's easy for you to control where plans can and will build.
Usage example: You have a plan that you want to build under Linux. To do so, match up this plan with an agent running Linux by specifying a custom capability of "operating.system=Linux" on your agent. Then select that capability as a requirement in your plan.
Monitor all agents
Are your agents offline or online? What have they built? What are they currently building? Tabs in Bamboo let you manage and monitor agents.
