Recruiters
Many recruiters ask us how they can become a recruitment partner of Atlassian. That's why we set up a new program for recruiters in the US and the Netherlands. Please note that we are not looking for assistance in Sydney.
It works as follows: all recruiters are welcome to submit candidates. The number of candidates you send us will determine your search fee. We figured, agencies who refer only awesome candidates—and who save us time – deserve a higher fee. For recruiters who want to increase their chances by referring more candidates, we simply agree to adjust the fees down.
We get dozens of requests every year to work with recruiters. And while we'd love to work with all of you, it's not realistic. So we're raising the bar. Any recruiter that wants to work with Atlassian must follow these conditions:

Rule #1
You can't empty your candidate database into our inbox.
You choose how many candidates your agency wishes to submit. The fees reduce if you wish to refer more candidates. The first time you send us candidates, you can only submit a maximum of 4 candidates.

Rule #2
A great candidate means a great relationship.
Make sure that these candidates are awesome. If one (or more) of these 4 candidates is hired, you may be allowed to submit more candidates and become our recruitment partner.

Rule #3
Unsuitable candidates? Sorry mate!
If none of these candidates you put forward is good enough, then we must unfortunately part ways. This means if you have chosen to submit two candidates, and we don't hire either candidate we will have to end the relationship.

Can I call you to have a chat about the program?
Please don't call us. If we chatted to every recruiter about the program, we'd be on the phone all day rather than trying to run our business. All the information you need, along with the role specific details, company info, videos on culture etc up on our website are all you need to get started. If you have any questions, please direct them to talentqueries@atlassian.com. Contacting us via email also helps us improve this FAQ. We are unconventional company, just look at our approach to performance reviews.

What happens after I sign up for the program?
Once you've signed up to our T&C's you will be sent an email with the details & next steps on how to submit candidates.

Can I negotiate the rates/fees?
No, we feel our rates/fees are competitive and we are not looking to have multiple agreements with differing fees.

Will my candidates really get considered?
Yes, if you sign up for our program we will review your candidates. It's really important that you submit the candidate's contact details (including email and phone and home mailing address) as we will be in touch with them directly to schedule interviews. If your candidate is successful and made an offer you will be notified. We really do want to find exceptional candidates, and we're prepared to reward recruiters if they can truly add value, without filling our inboxes with resumes (we have never been keen on "resume lottery").

Have other recruiters been successful?
This program definitely isn't for every recruiter. Many recruiters shy away from it, but recruiters who get it, and understand our culture and what we are looking for in a candidate have a great chance of being successful.
