Description

  • Do you instantly dig into the source to find out how they made it work, when you discover something new on a website you use?
  • Can you combine elegant, efficient and attractive designs with the skills to realise them in code?

 

We're looking for web developers who are passionate about creating fast and beautifully functional interfaces, have a love for solving hard problems, and enjoy learning about new technology and contributing to products used by millions of people. 

 You will be working with a small team, pairing with other brilliant developers and amazing designers to create lustful apps. You'll get to invent, prototype, build and ship new applications and features to developers around the world.

What you’ll do

  • Work with a team of talented developers and designers to build simple, beautiful and consistent user experiences using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Invent and prototype new features and interactions, then build, test and ship them in our products.
  • Improve the modularity and architecture of our existing front-end code, reducing duplication and improving developer efficiency.
  • Drive the implementation of new web technologies which improve our ability to build great products.

Required skills

  • 2 - 3+ years experience building and maintaining front-end code for dynamic modern web applications.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript libraries like jQuery, RequireJS and Backbone.js.
  • Solid software design skills and preferably experience with automated UI testing.
  • Passion for usability, simplicity and consistency in user interface design.
