Spartez has been working with Atlassian for more than 5 years on key products including JIRA, Bamboo, FishEye and Crucible and currently employs 30 awesomely talented software engineers. Due to growing responsibilities Spartez is expanding its team and is looking for the team leader of small group (4 – 10 people) of very experienced software developers.

What you'll do:

  • Coordination of multiple simultaneous streams of software development between geographically dispersed teams.
  • Being a technical leader, promoting, defining, customizing and deploying best agile practices.
  • Cooperation with all departments in order to achieve the best possible result - customer success.
  • Collaboration with Product Management by validating the product roadmap, setting priorities and providing estimates.
  • Ensuring visibility through lightweight metrics and continuous project status reporting.
  • Set objectives for people and hold them accountable.
  • Lead by example and practice an inclusive management style.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in leading the development team (complete lifecycle).
  • Very good and fresh knowledge of Java or .NET (or in other modern programming platforms, especially web-based).
  • The ability to mentor and motivate engineers.
  • The ability to effectively delegate tasks and monitor progress of a group of people.
  • Minimum 5 years (10+ years preferred) of experience in software development.
  • Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of several Version Control Systems will be an added advantage.
  • Fluent English (cooperation at the international level).
