– Atlassian Foundation
The Atlassian Foundation is driven by our employee's concerns and interests around improving our society and environment. Our Foundation is based on a 1% model that dedicates:
- 1% of company and employee time to Foundation projects
- 1% of company equity to the Foundation
- 1% of our products to non-profit groups
The Foundation's outcomes are met in a number of ways, including:
Staff volunteering
Atlassian grants its employees 5 days paid volunteer leave per year. All our employees have the freedom to choose how and where they want to use their volunteer time. Want to help regenerate native Australian bushland? Work in a soup kitchen? Go on, get out there and create some change in the world.
Matched giving
The Atlassian Foundation will match donations for up to $1,000 per employee. This means that the foundation's money goes to causes that are important to our employees. Matched giving is done for fundraising drives, one-off gifts and is facilitated through our workplace giving programs.
Free Atlassian products
Atlassian provides all our products for free to non-profit groups and organisations. UNESCO, The UN High Commission for Refugees, Mercy Ships and NRMA Careflight are just some of the organisations that use Atlassian software to help their causes.
